A Busy Thursday!

Hello, friends of learning!

Today, in Math, we continued practicing multi-step transformations by drawing SO MANY cats!

Please ask me how this activity went and what my favourite cat name was! :)

In Français, we took some time for silent reading and listened to the remaining CFOO presentations.
We also took some time this morning to continue with our brain lessons. Today's topic was "neurons and neurotransmitters." After watching a few neurotransmitter simulations online (HERE and HERE) we took time to act out how a message is passed through a neuron and then continues to transfer through the synapse and on to the next neuron. Please ask me about our "pass the ball" activity and what we noticed as a class.

Finally, in Science, we completed the second test in our lab demo. We noticed that, in general, the results from the second test were very similar to the data we recorded yesterday.
We have calculated the average time of how long the candle remained lit for each beaker and will use these results when we graph the data in class next week.
