Happy Friday!
Today in Math we played a card game to help us compare positive and negative integers:
la guerre des nombres entiers!
This is much like the classic card game "War" but with a small math twist.
The red cards in the deck represented the negative integers and the black cards represented the positive ones. When flipping and comparing the cards to see who 'won,' we first had to determine if our card had a positive or negative value, and then decide if our value was greater.
What a great way to have fun AND practice number sense all at once! :)
Have a great weekend!
