It's Tuesday!

Hello, everyone!
What a terrific Tuesday!

We got the day started off just right with our I Love to Read assembly in the gym.
We played a word game, listened to the teachers read The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors and had a chance to drop everything and read!

Here we are with our books, waiting for the assembly to start.

In Math, we worked in randomized groups at the white boards. Our task today was to write equations equaling the numbers from 0 - 16 using four 4s and our choice of operations ( +  - x  ÷ ). Our brief lesson about the order of operations (PEDMAS) certainly came into effect as we negotiated different equation options with our group members.

Lastly, in Français, after our daily LaLaLa, we read the first chapter of Zamboni - the short novel we will be studying over the next couple of weeks. After reading the first chapter, we discussed and made a chart of all the things we learned about the narrator and all the questions we still have about him. We will continue to add our chart as we read on in the novel.
