Today in Français, we continued working on our Reader's Theatre scripts. Today's goal was to create a glossary of words that we will teach to the rest of our classmates before presenting our plays. Working together to read through our entire script, we identified words that we (and likely our peers) would be unfamiliar with. From there, we grouped the words into categories (feminine and masculine nouns, verbs, adjectives, and expressions) and collaborated to write a short, clear definition and/or draw a picture to describe each word.
Our next step is to re-write our glossary on chart paper using our colour-coded system.
This word work will help us better understand the structure and grammar of our texts and will help our classmates expand their French vocabulary and better understand our
Reader's Theatre presentations, too!
