Today, after saying farewell to our 8s at this morning's assembly, we started our time together reading the book Tomorrow's Alphabet. It was an interactive read, as we had the chance to predict what the letter might represent. Ex: A is for seed, tomorrow's Apple. This is one of Mme Careen's favourite books to read at the end of the year! :)
After reading together, we had a chance to reflect on our favourite memory of the year. We each got a cue card and could write down our thought, in either English or French. Mme Careen will be posting all of our memories later this week when she signs off on our classroom blog for the year. Be sure to check back to see what we chose! :)
For the remainder of our morning, we worked through different Math activities that our Division Math Team was so kind to lend out to us. We had 13 different Math-based activities to choose from, with the 2D-3D booklet easily being the class favourite (and the trickiest, too)!
Please ask me what Math activities I chose to tackle today!
Thanks for a great morning, everyone! :)
