Hello, learning friends!
Today, after our monthly "La table ronde" session, we spent the rest of of morning together learning about the Hindenburg explosion and the different theories of how it exploded.
We started by watching the original footage and then watched the Mythbusters episode (minus the crocodile segments) in which they test different combinations of factors that may have lead to the explosion. In addition to learning more about the Hindenburg, we also saw a great example of both the experimental process and the design process as they planned and carried out multiple tests to prove their theories. Very fascinating stuff! :)
Next on our list in Science: the four forces of flight, with a special focus on lift and how it is created!
Stay tuned!
